Common questions

Booking, Timing and the 30-Minute Guarantee

Getting someone out fast matters when a drain's already backing up.

Here's how booking and response actually work.

What happens after I call?

You'll describe the problem to a plumber over the phone first, then we get someone moving toward your address. The price gets approved on-site before any tools come out, so nothing is guesswork once we arrive.

How do I book online?

Use the booking form on this site and a plumber will confirm a time. Doing it this way also gets you $50 off when you book online.

What counts as a drain emergency?

Sewage rising back through a floor drain, water spreading across the floor from a fixture, or a toilet cistern that keeps refilling and overflowing all count as urgent. Ring us the moment it starts rather than mopping up and hoping it settles.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes. We're open 365 days a year, and a real person answers the phone day or night, weekends and public holidays included. Drains don't keep business hours, so neither do we.

Common questions

What It Costs to Get It Flowing

No one wants a surprise on the invoice. Here's the model we work to.

How do quotes work?

A plumber inspects the blockage on-site and puts a number to it before touching anything. You sign off on that number, and it's what you pay when the job's finished, however long it takes.

Do prices change once you start?

No. What you approve is what you pay, with no exceptions. If something unexpected turns up mid-job, we'll walk you through it and get sign-off before doing extra work, never after.

How does the 10% seniors discount work?

Mention it when you book and it comes off your invoice. It stacks with the free quote we already give every customer, so there's no catch beyond showing you qualify.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. $0 call-out fee, every visit, whether it's a simple clear or a bigger job. You only ever pay the price you signed off on before we started work.

Common questions

Local Answers for Narraweena

Some questions come up specifically because of what's in the ground here.

Do tree roots really get into pipes here?

Often. Narraweena's older blocks carry mature gardens planted decades ago, and those roots find their way into clay drain joints that have had years to crack and gap. It's one of the most common jobs we're called out for in this pocket of the Beaches.

How local are you, really?

Narraweena and the surrounding Northern Beaches suburbs are our regular run, not an occasional stop. We're on these streets often enough to know which blocks tend to have the older clay stock still in the ground.

Do you work on strata and apartment blocks?

Yes, alongside standalone houses. Shared drain lines in strata buildings need a bit more coordination with the building manager, but the on-site quote and the standard we work to don't change.

What suburbs do you service?

Narraweena, Dee Why, Cromer, Beacon Hill, Brookvale and Collaroy are all part of our regular coverage across the Northern Beaches.

Common questions

Licensed, Insured and Done Properly

The legal and safety side of drain work, in plain terms.

Do wipes really block drains?

Yes, even ones labelled flushable. They don't break down in the pipe the way toilet paper does, and they snag on any rough joint or root intrusion until a full blockage builds up behind them.

What warranty do I get?

A lifetime labour warranty covers the work. If it's not right, we come back, no questions, no cost, and that applies to every drain job we complete.

Can I clear a blocked drain myself?

A plunger on a minor kitchen or bathroom clog is usually worth trying before you call anyone. Shop-bought chemical cleaners and hired root-cutting gear risk cracking older clay pipework further, and drainage work in NSW is legally a licensed plumber's job.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, Master Plumber accredited, and insured with $20 million public liability cover on every job we do.
